Pay-It-Forward Support for BiblicalMentoring.org is Needed.   

Biblical Mentoring (BM),  a faith-based ministry with a mission to “Train Reproducing Disciples” was launched officially in 2019.  However, in reality, this is the type of ministry I have offered for many years.  Participants in a weekly or a monthly phone call receives training without charge to go and train others (reproduction).  Anyone from anywhere can benefit from the many sets of memory or review verses on the Memory Verses webpage without charge.  Go to Memory Verses.

We are offering something of value that is helping to advance the Kingdom of God.  Everyone (participant or other) is encouraged to offer a donation as a “pay-it-forward” tax-deductible gift to help us continue to offer this advanced discipleship training.  (Biblical Mentoring, dba Healthy Initiative Ministries (HIM) is an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit since 1996.)

As the founder / director, I (Ron) am currently offering 50 training sessions each month to about 12 mentees.  Some of the mentees are now offering weekly training sessions.  The goal is for all to train others on an ongoing basis.  We use our own memory verse sets (GRACE, HOPE, HEART of CHRIST, JOHN, ROMANS, TRAINING DISCIPLES TO TRAIN, SHORT CATECHISMS, etc.) in addition to sets like the Topical Memory System (TMS) produced by the Navigators.

Some examples:  I was able to offer weekly mentoring calls to my mother for many years until she passed recently as the age of 96.  This was truly a joy and privilege to share with her Biblical truths as she prepared to meet Jesus, her Savior and Lord. Unable to go to her local church worship services, she said our sessions made her “feel like she had just gone to church”!

Secondly, I have now started the Training Disciples to Train study with Joe who was formerly one of my student leaders at one of 15 medical / dental schools when I was a regional director of CMDA.  Joe and his wife served as medical missionaries for 30 years in Africa and is now seeking our BM  training to help other medical missionaries grow in their faith in Christ.  Some doctors are not able to get adequate spiritual training while preparing for medical missionary work.  I am so eager to assist doctors like Joe who can help many others who can encourage their patients with the Word of Truth (the Bible).

Our Board is in the process of approving a budget of $36,000.  We can use any amount offered but a consistent monthly source of funding is preferred for greater sustainability.  Currently, we have pledges of about $1,000 per month.

We trust that your financial sponsorship (partnership) will help train many disciple-making disciples for generations to come. You can be a part of this goal.

We know that the mission of the Church is to fulfill the Great Commission to “go and make disciples …teaching them to observe all that Christ commanded.” Believers in Christ Jesus is the Church.   Every believer is a disciple, and every disciple (student) is called to die to self and reproduce.  Simple.  Multiplication is the means of advancing the Kingdom of God as Jesus, our Lord commanded in Matthew 28.  Evangelism is the proclamation of the Good News for our Salvation which reconciles man as a sinner to the Holy God.  The work of laymen (non-ordained believers) is also to advance God’s Kingdom on earth and especially to help Saints (believers) mature in their faith (sanctification).  That is our commission and privilege.  We are called to train others to become disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.  There is no more important work we can do.  This ministry like so many non-profit ministries are considered “para-church”, to come along side of the Church and assist in it’s mission.

We can accomplish so much more working together than we can alone.
