Our mission of Training Reproducing Disciples <\/strong><\/span>is growing as we continue to depend on God providing individuals to become trainers and for more participants who wish to be mentored & trained and lastly for others to donate or “pay-it-forward” the funding for the necessary costs.<\/p>\n

NEW ADVISORS<\/strong>:\u00a0 Gary Brittain in Douglasville, GA and Rev. David Keeney have agreed to serve as Advisors.\u00a0 That makes 3 Board Members and 4 Advisors.\u00a0 Our next Board meeting will be on March 11th, 2026.<\/p>\n

Website Revisions:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 The Memory Verses webpage has been revised to Studie<\/strong>s<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0 We now offer 17 Studies.\u00a0 Our key study that all of the trainees are studying as the initial study (discipleship training manual) is Training Disciples to Train<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 The newest study being developed is<\/span> In His Image<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 These study guides which can be used with or without the book are offered free of charge by the generosity of our donors and funding from our commissions earned when you use the services offer by our Switch&Support Funding Plan<\/a>.\u00a0 Please consider making a financial contribution to our 501(c(3) non-profit ministry on our Pay-It-Forward<\/a> webpage to help provide these resources.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

UPDATE<\/strong>:<\/span>\u00a0 Five new studies have been added recently which are:\u00a0 Acts, Biblical Mentoring (scripture plus book study), Corinthians, Hebrews, and Paul’s Prison Epistles.\u00a0 \u00a0All seventeen studies offer a key digital memory verse for each chapter (week).\u00a0 Eleven participants are committed to a weekly training phone session while three individuals are committed to a monthly session.\u00a0 Sessions in development are Mark, Top 50 Psalms and another scripture + book study of a classic – The Cost of Discipleship by Bonhoeffer.\u00a0 Two studies (Pilgram’s Progress and Shorter Catechisms) need more development work.<\/p>\n

As mentioned, we now start everyone with the Training Disciples to Train<\/strong><\/a> <\/span>study which has become our discipleship training manual \/ study.\u00a0 We will resume an emphasis on memorizing the key verse in each lesson.\u00a0 The link for the pdf memory verses in on the left side of each study chart and the link for the whole chapter which we study together is on the left column in each chart.\u00a0 We use the English Standard Version (ESV) for the studies.<\/p>\n

We consider every believer is a disciple (student) and that every disciple is required to die to self AND to reproduce (be a disciple-maker).\u00a0 So, we pray daily for more mentees to be trained and more financial and prayer partners.\u00a0 Go to Updates<\/strong><\/a><\/span> for our recent update.<\/p>\n

We are:\u00a0 FOR <\/strong>Disciple-Makers BY <\/strong>Disciple-Makers ABOUT <\/strong>Disciple-Makers!<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT:\u00a0 <\/strong>We “make disciples” <\/strong>as commissioned by Jesus in Matthew 28.\u00a0 However, we are focused more on “training the trainers” <\/strong>modeled after Paul’s instructions to Timothy:
\n“You then my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.\u00a0 <\/em>And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses <\/em>entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others<\/strong>.”\u00a0 – 2 Timothy 2:1-2<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Discipleship has just two key essentials: \u00a0dying to self as Christ did and reproducing new life in Christ. Jesus gave us this example and He calls every believer in Him to follow His example. \u00a0Personally, we have to know Christ before we can make Him known.<\/p>\n

We offer mentoring to help one die to self but also training to help one reproduce. \u00a0Both are emphasized in each of our weekly sessions. \u00a0Discipleship that doesn\u2019t end with reproduction is not the Great Commission of Jesus.<\/p>\n

We invite you to join us to “go and make (train) disciples teaching them all that Jesus taught” which is Christ’s Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

After 6 years, we have had approximately 60 participants with 25% of those still actively involved in training and a few who are now mentoring \/training others. Again, we are disciples of Jesus who are intentionally \u201cdisciple-making disciples\u201d.<\/p>\n

Depending on the Spirit of Truth as each person’s primary teacher, a Biblical mentor<\/strong> is one who helps a participating mentee (trainee) who is willingly engaged in weekly phone or video training calls by interpreting the Bible, which is the Word of God, i.e., the Word of Truth, by which we live and make mature wise decisions.<\/p>\n

We seek to train new participants consistently, for all of our life, with a life-to-life context in a one-to-one format, while training them to do the same. \u00a0This one-to-one format makes this relational discipleship training. \u00a0Today, it seems that discipleship is more about just spiritual growth without the training for multiplication. \u00a0Spiritual growth with training for reproduction (multiplication) is the goal of Biblical Mentoring<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In other words, every person who chooses to respond to the \u201cCome, follow me\u201d call of Jesus is instantly a disciple (student) of the Word of God that was written by those inspired by the Holy Spirit who becomes our Counselor, Comforter, and Teacher as we fulfill our duties as an Ambassador of God.<\/p>\n

We speak His Truth(s) to reconcile others to God – the Father, \u00a0and Son Jesus (who is our Redeemer by His one-time sacrifice on the Cross) and the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 Proclaiming and living by God’s Truth is God\u2019s will for each of us regardless of our personal or professional roles in life.<\/p>\n

Biblical Mentoring \u00a0was established to teach and model the craft of becoming a life-long student of the Bible who mentors and trains and ultimately coaches disciple-making disciples globally.<\/p>\n

We teach The Word of Truth:
\n<\/strong><\/em>\u201cAll Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” –\u00a0 2 Timothy 3:16-17<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Through Biblical Mentoring, <\/strong>we learn the value and path of developing biblical character by:
\nTeaching<\/strong> \u2013 learning life\u2019s path of Biblical character.
\nRebuking<\/strong> \u2013 learning what is not consistent with the path.
\nCorrecting<\/strong> \u2013 learning how to get back on the path.
\nTraining in Righteousness<\/strong> \u2013 learning to stay on the path & become a disciple-making disciple.<\/p>\n

Each person with needs volunteers to help another person with needs to reach a deeper faith in Christ and other higher goals. \u00a0There is a mutual benefit from our encouraging and equipping each other.<\/p>\n

Remember – it is more about what you START that counts!
\n<\/strong>To get started, you only need:
\n1.<\/strong>\u00a0 Desire for true spiritual growth (a teachable spirit).
\n2.<\/strong> Thirty minutes for weekly training calls plus time it takes to memorize a verse and study.
\n3.<\/strong>\u00a0 A trained disciple-maker who is committed to his or her role as a trainer.
\n(Each person who has been trained prays for a trainee from their own network of friends.)<\/p>\n
