{"id":232,"date":"2021-03-19T05:10:40","date_gmt":"2021-03-19T05:10:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biblicalmentoring.org\/?page_id=232"},"modified":"2026-02-09T18:53:45","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T18:53:45","slug":"goals","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/biblicalmentoring.org\/index.php\/goals\/","title":{"rendered":"Goals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Some Goals of Biblical Mentoring: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our primary goal is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.<\/p>\n<p>Our focused goal is to &#8220;Train Reproducing Disciples&#8221;.\u00a0 That is, to train every believer to be a reproducing disciple (to make other disciples).<\/p>\n<p>To fear God and make wise decisions based on the principles of truth in the Bible as guided by the Spirit of Truth.\u00a0 Our decisions have consequences (good or bad).\u00a0 Biblical truths help us make good decisions.<\/p>\n<p>2 Timothy 3:17 <em>&#8211; &#8220;that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For our sanctification, that is, our spiritual growth and maturity in Biblical character.<\/p>\n<p>To know Christ and make Him known &#8211; to know God, His goodness, love, holiness, sovereignty, justice, faithfulness.<\/p>\n<p>To trust God as The Promise Keeper and to put His Word in our memory and heart.<\/p>\n<p>For encouraging and \u201cequipping God\u2019s people for works of service\u201d \u2013 Ephesians 4:11-13.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, for the praise of the Glory of God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some Goals of Biblical Mentoring: Our primary goal is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.
