The Danny Schunk Family:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

What a neat loving family! \u00a0I started by reaching out to Blake<\/strong> (in the white shirt) at LifeTime Fitness in 2020. \u00a0We started the weekly mentoring \/ training sessions then and are still working through different verse packs waiting until he is confident he has learned the skills to start mentoring others. (Note:\u00a0 we trust in the Holy Spirit – our teacher, to give the knowledge).\u00a0 \u00a0Blake has finished the Topical Memory System (TMS) verses plus the Hope and Proverbs studies.\u00a0 We started the new Shorter Catechism study but then switched to the Training the Disciples to Train study.\u00a0 \u00a0Blake is contributing to this ministry by serving on the Board.<\/p>\n

Note:\u00a0 I say “mentor \/ train” because we are not seeking to offer spiritual growth without the insistence that we are training the trainers to train as we are a 2 Timothy 2:2 type of training ministry.\u00a0 We encourage those seeking only to grow and not be trained to train others to continue with various other ways to gain spiritual growth.\u00a0 Most churches seek to “make” disciples but very few aspire to train disciples to train or make disciple-makers.\u00a0 Our mission is to train the trainers as Jesus commanded to grow (expand) His Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Blake\u2019s Dad – Danny<\/strong>, started sensing the spiritual growth of his son and knowing that he also needed this growth asked if I would mentor \/ train him to grow like Blake.\u00a0 \u00a0We started Danny\u2019s training in 2022.\u00a0 He finished \u00a0the 60 TMS verses (one verse per week) and then study of Hope memory verses – the set that Blake requested we develop together to be used with rehab patients. (BTW, very few trainees catch the fuller vision or plan early on but work toward gaining the confidence from our weekly sessions.\u00a0 It seems that Danny saw the bigger picture with plans for a person to mentor \/ train).\u00a0 So, he started mentoring his youngest son, Curtis in 2025.\u00a0 For some time, we had a system of having a session then Danny would then have that same training session with his son.\u00a0 This is a great way for Dads to disciple their sons.<\/p>\n

Blake\u2019s Mom, Wendy<\/strong>, not wanting to be \u201cleft behind\u201d, asked that I mentor \/ train her as well starting in 2023. \u00a0So, I personally offer three separate weekly training calls – an investment that will certainly pay off in ways that only God knows. \u00a0The goal is to get and keep them trained to mentor \/ train other family members and friends moving forward.<\/p>\n

Both Blake and Danny are graciously offering Pay-It-Forward donations to BM so that others can benefit from this training. \u00a0Pretty neat story – one that can be repeated many times by myself and those who get trained to go and \u201cmake disciple-makers\u201d, the commission or charge Jesus gave His people called the church.\u00a0 The church, as we know, is not a building or an organization but the people of God.

F2M (Farm-to-Market) Tractor (BUV Ministry), designed by Institute for Affordable Transportation (IAT), offered by BUV Ministry – www.drivebuv.org.\u00a0 Biblical Mentoring is offering the Biblical (Discipleship) Training \/ Mentoring for trainers to train the drivers and owner operators.\u00a0 \u00a0This plan was envisioned\u00a0 about 15 years ago.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ron, Silas from Cameroon, Africa, Chris and Will Austin in Indianapolis at the BUV Factory (Nov, ’23).\u00a0 By God’s Grace, I am proceeding to mentor Silas, his two sons Shelter and Humble as trainers to do Biblical Mentoring training, mentoring and coaching of the BUV – F2M (Farm2Market) Tractor drivers or owner operators carrying crops from the fields to the market.\u00a0 These drivers will be encouraged and equipped to serve as “chaplains” in the marketplace.<\/p>\n
